Style Wedding
Wed in Castle, Wed in Cool Colors, Wed in Warm Colours, Wed in Fashion
If you are a romantic couple, I suggest marrying in a dreamlike castle or an elegant villa, surrounded by parks, gardens and breathtaking views as your Venice Wedding Location. These locations are perfect if you want to be surrounded by history and overwhelmed by the beauty and romantic suggestions of past times.
Getting married in a castle means being surrounded by a charming and unforgettable atmosphere. Warm colours, stones that tell of centuries of history, unique scents.
Castles are also the perfect backdrop for a wedding reception in medieval dress and why not celebrate the end of your perfect day by lighting up the sky with an elegant firework display accompanied by music. Your guests will be amazed by this truly memorable entertainment.
Tiziano and Claudia live in Rome but are originally from Venice: their dream was to be wed in their home town. They were really smitten by my website and asked me to follow the styling of their wedding.
They wanted a suggestive location, historical but not excessive, for their dream wedding, somewhere they could feel like a prince and a princesses.
No sooner said than done.
I drove them to a castle near Venice, located on a little hill and surrounded by a wonderful view.
They told me they wanted a traditional but colourful environment.
The bride said she wanted to feel like Princess Sissi, so my choice of colours was crimson and cobalt blue! She chose a white wedding dress with a wide gown skirt with a round bouquet of red roses. We organized for her hair to be shaped in a braid that fell to one side.
We organized aisles in the venue using see-through vases with red, pink, blue and yellow flowers. Candles were, of course, a must.
Light effects were created by hanging lanterns and crystal decorations from the trees in the garden. The outdoor venue was embellished with bright and sumptuous decorations, while the indoor venue was decorated using curtains, fruit, plants and flowers.
The guests were truly surprised by the sumptuous reception: this is what it means to get married in Venice.
The idea of a wedding in Venice where the fil rouge is the use of the cold colours of the colour palette was born when I met Gianluca and Luisa.
The would-be bride and groom had asked me to take care of the entire marriage ceremony, from A to Z, because the only thing that they knew for certain was that they wanted to use the colours purple and blue in everything that was to be used on their big day.
I suggested they use a broader and customized palette, from the invitation to the tableau, from the flowers to the dress, from the paths to the chairs and the restaurant.
Every small detail was conceived thinking of the tones of blue, purple and green.
They were initially a little skeptical, because they could not imagine the result. So we started to think together of a classic, but colorful and original style.
She wanted to feel like a princess and wanted an amazing dress for the altar. In the end she chose electric blue for the dress!
The groom opted for an elegant grey, not to go wrong!!
We decided then to produce colored invitations where a bright background would created the mood, enough with the usual white! This time we used the heaven blue, a colour that also embellished the tables, together with large green leaves and white roses.
The choice of musical instruments proved a success, and the violins and harp that accompanied them along the church aisle created strong amazement in all! They were simply perfect!
The guests were incredulous…nobody had ever seen a church decorated with blue flowers and purple together: an unusual but character-full effect!
Luisa and Gianluca were delighted, their dream was coming true as they had always imagined.
We obviously told the guests that receding colours were favored, given the theme chosen.
The witnesses and the friends of the bridegroom all used turquoise socks … which was also in tone with the bride’s dress!
This type of wedding does not need a large budget: in fact it matched the initial budget, and the result was really effective!
All the decorations were designed around a specific color palette and everything was perfectly balanced!
For example, yellow recalls a rustic and summery style where you can use sunflowers, orange gerberas and the ears of wheat. Have you ever thought of organising a wedding picnic instead of a wedding banquet?
If you like country atmospheres, you will also appreciate a “nature-inspired look” for the venue!… wheat ears could be used for the table arrangements!…and the guests are also free to wear comfortable outfits to play in the open air!
Another option for a “Wed in Warm Colours” is red, which is always loved by my romantic brides!
Last time I arranged a romantic wedding, I was asked to find a romantic and chic venue for just a few guests for a modest budget. The perfect location was a very chic, recently refurbished, medieval mill near Treviso, perfect for a romantic, rustic, but unusual atmosphere.
We used bright colours and green plants all around and on the tables we used rosemary and basil plants. Candles were a must, of course! They lit the paths and some details making them even more dreamlike.
When I showed them the mood board I had prepared, their easily re-named their wedding style “romantic rustic refined wedding”.
As required by the Italian tradition, they took some gifts for the guests …to remind them of that day for ever.
Amazing!
Between the choices rarely there are solutions alternative of tendency.
Brides more fanciful often choose bright colors, but the type is too often the one from catalog.
Luxury wedding in Venice is a possible dream we realize for you.
So one day I thought to propose to the brides, those who felt of venture, different clothing, to revisit atelier of high fashion, take mis by evening and to redesign them with for the big day. Outfits in jersey of viscose with sleeves in tulle and lace in contrast, for example, shoes in lace very chic would have made that bride unique.
For him rather than revisiting the tait with different fabrics. Of course thanks to the help of my seamstress of confidence!
I talked with an American friend who was to marry and, guess what a little bit?
He asked me to follow her wedding of his sister, fanatical of the Italian fashion!
We found her a dress from the atelier of a famous Italian fashion designer…it seemed like a Goddess!
Truly original!
They chose a venetian church as the location for the ceremony (Of course, the gondola ride with the violinist could not be left out!) while for the buffet a venetian villa.
We selected together a communication with style “lettering”, in fashion at that moment, and became known their important numbers: the first meeting, the first appointment, the first kiss waiting a graphic ad hoc.
The choice of decorations were fun! They told me that they wanted pointed forms, Oriental plants and flowers, red and orange, berries and green foliage. Everything is very clean and linear, geometric shapes defined.
For friends of the bridegroom we created a dedicated t-shirt to wear under the jacket.
The friends of the bride wore a flower on their head!
From lover of fashion wanted to revenue in catwalk style then it was sufficient to lay off of the lanes of carpet that would feel at the center of attention, more than it already was!
For the musical entertainment we chose a local singer famous for the explosive personality, that entertained guests during lunch.
Post lunch entrusted instead to a DJ.
The location lent itself very for a cocktail in the open air, ideal for chat, walk around and enjoy the good Italian wine!
For dinner they could enrich the menu because having spared the clothes (The style and the labor of a seamstress agree!) The budget allowed to offer wines of great quality, organizing the entertainment for the younger ones and even set up a small exhibition of a well-known local painter.
Were obviously organized games typically Anglo-Saxon, a professional photographer and a video reporter assisted them all day long and mounted the Marryoke, organized fun shots for your friends, (Using frames of paper, for example).
Their Italian dream-wedding in a fashion style was fully realized.
